Free returns
We hope you are satisfied with your purchase! However, if you are not completely happy or have simply changed your mind, we gladly accept returns within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery. Please refer to the instructions below for returning an online purchase.
The products must be new and unused, the tags still attached and the packaging need to be sent back intact and protected from damage while in transit. Refunds may take up to 14 days to appear in your account, depending on the original payment method used.

Once logged in:
Depending on your country and available services, you’ll be given one of two return options:
Pack your return securely, preferably in the original packaging. Alternative packaging is fine, but we strongly encourage recycling where possible.
Attach the return label to the outside of the parcel, making sure any old shipping labels are removed or fully covered.
Collection point: drop off the package at the preferred selected location within the opening hours, where it will be scanned it ready to be picked up. You’ll receive a confirmation email and a tracking number.
Home pick up: the carrier will arrive at the date, time, and address selected when booking the return. Please make sure you are present at that time.
You’ll be able to track your return right up until it has been fully processed.
Once the return has been received and processed at our warehouse, we’ll send you an email to confirm your refund has been processed. This can take 2-3 business days after we’ve received the returned item from the carrier.
Your refund may take up to 14 days to show on your account, depending on the method of payment you used.
Currently we are unable to exchange, so we’d encourage you to place a new order. We hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Note: We recommend that you use the above procedure for your returns. Alternatively, you can send us a request to withdraw from your purchase by using the Model Cancellation Form set out in Section 7 of the Terms of Sale.
If you are not satisfied with the products you received or have simply changed your mind about purchasing them after we have e-mailed you your order confirmation, you can return them within 30 (thirty) calendar days of delivery of the products and get a refund.
This is a right of withdrawal that you can exercise without penalty and without giving any reason. Please note that while the products remain in your possession you are responsible for keeping them safe, secure and in good condition. In case of returns for change of mind (right of withdrawal), you will be fully reimbursed apart from shipping costs for express delivery, if you had chosen this shipping method.
In addition to the above, we recognize the statutory 2-year (or the longer period that may be set forth by your local law) guarantee for product faults. A product is "faulty" if received damaged or where a manufacturing or material fault occurs within 2 years (or the longer period that may be set forth by your local law) from the purchase. Please note that Products damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty.
To submit a warranty claim, you are required to contact our Customer Service team by completing the form available on the Contact Us page of this website. Once the claim has been submitted, it will be reviewed by a designated agent. If the claim is approved following such review, a refund will be issued in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
Free Return Policy
Smartwool offers free returns within 30 days from the date of purchase. Items must be unused, unwashed, and unaltered.
Store Returns
Return the unworn item(s) to the store where you originally made the purchase for a refund or exchange.
Online Returns
Return unworn item(s) purchased at smartwool.com 30 days from the date of purchase for a complete refund. Initiate a return by accessing your order history and selecting “Return Items."
We are currently offering free shipping on orders €85+ placed on eu.smartwool.com.
Shipping based on normal carrier restrictions and delays. We cannot guarantee arrival. Free shipping may not be available for some customers.
